Diaper Cakes – delicious but inedible confectionery

Ok, some of you may have received my sms, emails, verbal hounding on my new diaper cake business. Some of you are obviously awed by the entire concept – err.. is it edible? what’s inside? can eat or not?

Ok, looks like I need to educate my beloved target audience on this novel idea. FYI, diaper cakes is not an original idea from me or  Little Rascals. Key in Diaper Cake in Google search and you will be shocked to see over 920,000 searches generated.

Diaper cakes are often given as gifts to new mom-to-be at the baby shower or in our Asian context; 1st month baby celebration or the cukur rambut ceremony. The cakes are made of Diapers! (something that mummies and babies need). They are then topped with baby clothings, toys, shoes, etc. Typically; shoes, onesies, blankets, toys are the more common ones. Depending on the number of baby stuff they would like to stuff, some cakes can be even 3 tiered and above.

Internet Marketing – To learn or not to learn

I have been spending my weekends and weekdays after work surfing the web for materials on Internet Marketing. The preview I attended few weeks back enticed me to read more on this topic. For a start, this is what I have learnt so far.

Online Business (also known as Internet Marketing or IM) is selling products and services using the Internet as a sales channel.

Sounds simple, isn’t it. But let me tell you – it’s an entire new dimension to Marketing. I felt so dated as I read more. But, hey, I am gamed – it’s the only way I can excel in my online business.

My resolutions

Been thinking a lot lately. I simply needed to do something to my life. Hey, come on I am only married for two years and I have reached this stage where I suddenly felt that there’s something missing. Something .. something..

Well, maybe if I start with penning down my resolutions – it will help. Remember I am a Right brainer, yah. Someone has to help run through my messed up thots otherwise, nothing will unravel.

Ok, here goes..

a) Start a blog (haha.. this is more or less done as I am typing my first post) .. wait to MAINTAIN it as well (ok, we have to see this)

b) Pick up a new skill every month

c) Spend time with my family and frens

d) Start an online business

Wow.. that’s a handful of resolutions and it will definitely occupy my time from today onwards. I will be updating my progress along the way.
