Syukur Alhamdulillah

Most exciting week ever(since auto*)

It has been a very tiring but exciting week.

One call that made me me all tensed up
&
an event that left my legs aching and practically begging for a warm soothing soak.

And I am so looking forward to the weekends. I hv so many things to do before Raya. Ooh.. my house is in total mess – thanks to Jin who has been spending time painting and cleaning all the rooms. And, yikes.. he has set aside my stuff waiting for me to sort them. Deadline given is this Friday – otherwise it will be deemed as ”rubbish” and will be trashed! Ya, that’s my hubby. He is well known for trashing stuff without any consideration.

This will be a short entry – cos I really gotta go to clean the mess below. Haiz.

3 tier cake all by myself. No, I didnt eat it.. I baked it.

Had planned to springclean my kitchen cabinet yesterday. Was halfway through the tedious task when I received a request for urgent order of 1 diaper cake. Yes, order taken at 10.30am and the cake to be delivered on the same day! Awwwwww… thank goodness I was at home and we have enough stock after all the shopping last weekend. So, I accepted the job and decided to postpone my springcleaning project.

I was pretty ambitious when I looked back – 3 tier cake all by myself. With Aly around in the house, what I could accomplish in maybe 3 hours took me 5 hours. In any case, I couldn’t help but beamed with pride over my last minute creations.

Tell me what do you think of it. Sorry bout the photography. Nisa’s camera not with me and Aly (the other soul in the house) is too short to hold the white cloth as background. Heh.

Aly – the next generation of Rockers!

Aly has been asking for this guitar displayed on my rack. Kept telling her no cos that was a gift from me to Jin – from Cebu, Philippines. No way am I gonna let her play with that.

So, today, her granny came back with a guitar specially for her favourite granddaughter! Looks cool..

Excited over the newfound toy – she kept strumming and sang along.

Aly has grown up!

Was invited to a wedding dinner last nite. And the bride requested that I bring along little Aly. So, I dressed her up for the first time in a cream dress.  (Thanks Ash & Amy)

When we laid our eyes on her - we agreed that our daughter has grown up into a sweet little girl.

FaceBook is Awesome

Zakiah, my bestie from Primary School found me on FaceBook recently. And, Zakiah if you happened to read this – it was one of the best thing that ever happened to me in the recent months. Really. I can’t wait to meet you when you are back for Raya. We have lotsa catching up to do.

My bestie is now living in Hong Kong with her hubby, a Citibank-er. How wonderful, rite.

Anyway, I gave it some thoughts and decided to make a trip to HK maybe sometime in October. (with Aly and Jin).

Yes, we gonna visit  - my little one will be thrilled, I’m sure. Zakiah has offered to bring us around so I am sure we will have good time together.

Can’t wait to pick the date and start planning!

Formula 1

Formula 1 race is jus round the corner. But according to the papers today, not many people are excited over the race. Some commented that the sponsors failed to hype up that it is gonna be the first race ever in Singapore. Well.. some even thought that the race will take place next year. Bah.

And there was this little girl who thought the FI race is on motorbike not the lightning speed cars! So, she has been practising quite a fair bit.

No Aly, Formula 1 is Michael Schumacher game, not yours.

Tell you what.

Let’s say we stick to your Formula 1 Milk for a while.
You will need all the calcium for all the hard knocks when doing the stunts. And please don’t use your dad’s Man-U cap as your helmet, hokay!

Smell the flowers

People say; do take the time to smell the flowers.

And I had jus the time in the world to do that while playing SAHM for a month.
