Hallo Little Rascals fan base,

Wanna let you into this secret.. our product line is expanding by a teeny weeny into adult market. Yah.. yah… Adult????? Well, we are not carrying apparels range for adults. We still would love to focus on the little ones!!

It’s our gift range that got a bit expanded – stay tuned; pictures will be posted on 1st Jan 09. What a better way to start the new year than to launch the new arrivals, rite.

New year resolution

December 28, 2008

We can start counting down to the brand new year. tick tock..tick tock.. time really flies. It seems that Yr 2008 was just yesterday. Looking back to the resolution list… seems that I have fallen short from where the year begins.

So, the cycle will start again. This time, I promise myself that I will do it well. (eyes rolled). I can do this, I am sure – I must set SMART goals and that will take a bit of thinking, don’t you think?

Won’t be sharing any of my resolutions in this post. I am still deliberating whether should I make known to the public a list that is so personal.. Hee.

In the News

December 14, 2008

My sister Nang was interviewed by Berita Harian last week. Reminded me of those times I was in her place. My malay wasn’t fantastic.. hmm.. no, I think the better word to describe is “horrendous”.

Didnt keep any of the hardcopy nor audio clippings. :(   It was my granny who has passed on that kept these like pieces of treasure. If only I could could turn back the clock.

Tsk.. anyway, back to Nang..

Not so empty promises, I promise you..

December 14, 2008

I have been putting this on hold for the longest time. Let me see, I promised Reb back in Yr 2001 (shortly after our Aussie trip together) … then in 2002.. then in 2003.. then all it turned into sarcasm everytime we talked about it.

Please don’t be mistaken – we aren’t fighting. That’s simply the way we are. Beneath our constant sarcasm at each other, we love each other too much to mind these small things. It’s jus the way we show our love, yah.

So since this weekend, we are child-less (remember Aly is on holiday) – I decided to finally get this done.

After filling up a form, and queing over 45 mins, I finally got this!

Well, I know this is the first step to being a driver. On the same day, I got myself an instructor.

Yaay!! Give me few more months and I will be able to drive you around, okay.

Bond

December 10, 2008
Mummy’s bond with her little one is indescribable.
I regretted and I promised myself never to let her go away
on such a long holiday without me next time.
Have fun my little one! Call mummy everyday, okie.

Priceless

December 8, 2008

A big 34 last November – a big turning point in my life in 2008. New job, new career, new business, new domesticated lifestyle (no maid, u see). Many new and big developments in my life. No, I am not complaining. I am thankful that I am blessed in everyway possible.

When I decided to move on from my last job, the new offer came in timely; was able to spend a month with my little one at home and tasted what life would be like as a SAHM without worrying over my bills.

When I decided baby biz is my passion, things fell in its place as well. Orders came streaming in keeping us afloat. Earnings can’t replace my fulltime job, but it helped me sharpen my management & creativity skills.

When we decided that we didn’t need domestic help, I looked on the brighter side. Can now potter around in my kitchen without feeling pressured though I do missed a clean house without having to lift a finger. Well, it’s a sacrificial over privacy and money, hokay. Anyway, we have lived with it for months now. So, what the heck, rite!

When the hubby needed the you-know-wat support, I believe deep inside me that I have given the best I could ever have given to anyone. There won’t be any regrets, I’m sure.

Although my life is not perfect as it could be, I love every bits of it. The many holidays, branded stuff, etc no longer tad important to me. I am simply contented with just spending time with family, quiet reflection over coffee with hubby, sharing ice-cream sundae with my little one.

And, I thank God for all the priceless moments and for making me even stronger out of my life experiences to brave on into the new year (recession year too!).

Year 2009, here I come!!
